Stage 1 of the project - Community needs research

April 25, 2024 — Founding meeting in Byshiv village: discussion with community activists and URenew representatives, and introduction of the community to the team of sociologists.

May 2–7, 2024 — Four focus groups were conducted:

  1. with representatives of local authorities (village elders, members of the territorial community);
  2. with representatives of the education sector and youth policy;
  3. with representatives of the economy, social development, healthcare, and cultural development sectors;
  4. with representatives of enterprises and the business community.

May 13–25 — A qualitative needs assessment of residents was conducted “in the field” using tablets in a face-to-face format, with part of the survey completed online.

Result: 374 questionnaires collected! Of these, 176 were completed offline (from all villages of the community)
